BTEC Creative Level 3 Media

This is my review on a anime that I watched during lockdown, I watched two of them and they are Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z (I'm currently watching the uncanon Dragon Ball GT). I will give my honest opinion on Dragon Ball Z, as I really enjoyed watching it. Also, I will show other opinions or reviews of other people about Dragon Ball Z.

What were the leading characters? What other films/boxsets have they starred in? The main protagonist is Goku but there are other characters in the series that get more screen time such as Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, Bulma, Trunks, Goten, Frieza, Cell etc. Goku isn't always the main character in Dragon Ball Z in different sagas though, as the first saga focuses on his son, Gohan to became a powerful fighter in order to defeat the two Saiyans (Vegeta and Nappa).

What is the Director? What previous experience have they had?: Akira Toriyama is a manga artist (manga are comics or graphic novels) he is well known for being the creator of  Dragon Ball series which is up to date, the best manga series he has ever created in his career. His also made some few highly successful manga series such as Dr Slump. Akira's first experience of drawing was back in elementary school, where all his classmates drew; imitating anime and manga for entertainment. He said that he began to advance above everyone else when started drawing pictures of his friends, and after winning a prize at the local art studio of One Hundred and One Dalmatians, he began to think that ''art is fun''.

What is the genre and how did you know this?: The genre of the Dragon Ball series is an adventure, fantasy, and martial arts. I know this because at the beginning, Goku competed in the Worlds Martial Arts Tournament 3 times and he went in multiple adventures by himself or with his friends.

How did the narrative unfold and did this make you want keep watching?: The narrative in the story developed by each episode as the story becomes interesting and exciting and that's what it kept me of continuing watching the Dragon Ball series because of this excitement that it had in me.

Would you watch this again and why?: When I'm done with the whole Dragon Ball series, if I'm bored or there isn't any shows that interest me, I would go back to watch an episode or watch the whole Dragon Ball Z series because at the moment, Dragon Ball Z is the one out of the whole Dragon Ball series that I enjoyed so much.

Who would you recommend watch this?: The people that I would recommend to watch it are die heart anime fans and the people that are thinking watching it and it will be worth it in my opinion because when I first watched it, I became fascinated with the show and it kept me continuing watching the series.

My film idea

What would the film be about?:

Who would be your stars?:

Who are your main characters?:

Where would be set?: It would be set on a open space like a huge field with short grass.

Who is your target audience?: My target audience will be teenagers and adults as the film will have extreme violence and teens must be in the ages of 16 to watch this film.

What would be the genre?: The genre is martial arts

How would you appeal to the audience and keep them interested?: I would do that by making unforgettable scenes and that would keep it memorable in their heads when they think the film, they would always remember that particular scene.

What age certificate would it be and why?: The age certificate will be 16+ because only mature audience can watch this film as it contains server violence that would turn off younger audience and sensitive people.
